Robot cell for depalletizing sheet metal blanks
Our sophisticated depalletizer with variably adjustable robot gripper and flexible blank holders makes it possible to stack blanks of 21 different sheet metal blank dimensions via two drives and feed them to a press brake.
The order data is transmitted directly from SAP and the order is assigned to a pallet location on the PC (WinCC). The PLC controls the complete system sequence; the interface of the press brake is connected via Ethernet. While one order is being processed, the operator can load the next pallet parallel to the stacking process. The order change with format adjustment is fully automatic, thus allowing the blanks to be exchanged without downtime and the gripper adjusts to the blank size via two servo units. The workpiece carrier does not have to be retooled but can accommodate all possible blank variants.
We took over the mechanical and electrical construction, assembly and programming of PLC, robot and PC. Our comprehensive service also includes the electrical design, the construction of control cabinets and the installation of systems.
